The City of Malibu Parks and Recreation Department partnered with the Los Angeles County Lacrosse Association to host a clinic for girls interested in pursuing lacrosse at Bluffs Park last month. In exchange for the city’s partnership, the association donated 25 new girls lacrosse sticks and safety balls to the city to use in its program to promote the growth of girls lacrosse across the Southland.
At the clinic, 20 participants came together to work with trainer Joanna Lignelli. Lignelli attended The College of William and Mary, where she was a star player on the lacrosse team.
