The stretch of Pacific Coast Highway between Yerba Buena Road and Los Posas Road is scheduled to reopen Monday. There is currently no set time for reopening. “If there are no further rock slides, then it will be open Monday,” Caltrans Public Information Officer Judy Gish said. “In the meantime, crews will continue to clear rocks and debris.”
The highway has been closed since Dec. 18 when it was determined that a possible rockslide near Point Mugu posed a safety hazard to the public. It was briefly reopened Dec. 28, but closed again due to unstable conditions.
