Professional golfer and former Pepperdine University All-American Katherine Hull was inducted into the Women’s Golf Coaches Association’s Players Hall of Fame on Dec. 11 in Las Vegas.

Hull was the first female golfer to be inducted into the Pepperdine Athletics Hall of Fame in 2009. She is also the first Pepperdine student-athlete to go into the WGCA Hall of Fame. Hull became the hall of fame’s 59th inductee.

A native of Queensland, Australia, Hull competed for the Waves from 2000 to 2003, earning All- American honors three times. She was the coaches’ National Player of the Year as a senior in 2003 and also won the Dinah Shore Award.

“It’s a tremendous honor for Katherine,” Pepperdine coach Laurie Gibbs said. “I’m extremely proud of her and happy for her. She’s a gifted athlete who has worked very hard to accomplish all that she has, and she’s a wonderful person inside and out.”
