Spring adult and youth tennis classes on the horizon in Malibu

The City of Malibu will offer tennis classes at new times this spring, according to a city release.

The adult and youth classes designed for beginners as well as those with experience will be held at the Malibu High School Tennis Courts on Saturday mornings.

Classes will be taught by Malibu High Tennis Coach Bruce Young, who will go over serving, stroke production and volleying.

The youth classes (ages 6-12) will be held from 9:00-10:30 a.m. and the adult classes (ages 18+) from 10:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

Students must wear tennis shoes and bring their own water bottles.

There will be three sessions: April 6–27, May 4–18, and June 1 – 29. The cost is a $30 drop-in daily rate and classes are pay-as-you-go.
