From art events to concerts, there’s plenty of summer fun to be had this weekend in Malibu.

Beginning on Saturday, the 12th annual “Art on the Land” weekend workshop takes place. The creative art workshop is on Saturday, for all ages and skill levels, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

On Sunday, Mary Wright’s art is on display in a unique exhibit. Tour the pond, ridges, and oak grove while viewing her works, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

On Saturday, Tales by the Sea’s summer concert takes place at home in Malibu. The event, themed “When Ordinary Life Goes a Little Whacky,” features David O’Shea, Carlos Kotkin, Vicki Juditz and James Mihaley. For more information, and to RSVP, call 310.457.2385.

Sunday brings a summer concert to the area. The National Parks Service and the Topanga Banjo Fiddle Folk Festival host the event, featuring performances by I See Hawks in L.A. and Dustbowl Revival.
