Although there are family events to attend in Malibu, such as the City of Malibu Annual Halloween Carnival at the Bluffs and the Halloween in MaliBOO at Malibu County Mart, the drive downtown to the Theatre at the Ace Hotel’s annual All Hallows ritual will be worth the trip.
The showing of “Psycho,” Hitchcock’s masterpiece, will be on the big screen accompanied by a live performance of the hair-raising score of “Psycho” by the LA Opera Orchestra. Conductor Louis Lohraseb will lead the musicians of the orchestra in the live performances of Bernard Hermann’s celebrated iconic soundtrack as the movie plays on the big screen. I am sure that one of my favorite horror movies will be even scarier than before. Don’t miss it. It will take place from Oct. 25 – 31. There are special events on Oct. 26 and, of course, Halloween—Oct. 31.
