Malibu La Costa native Stephen James Gary married Jennie Kate Weinkle on May 21, 2016, at the Gainey Vineyard in Santa Ynez, Calif.
Jennie, the daughter of Ellen Beck and Louis Weinkle of Coral Gables, Fla., attended Beverly Hills High School, while Stephen, son of Joanne Gary of Malibu, attended Malibu High. They met at the University of California at Berkeley, where they became college sweethearts.
Jennie is now in her first year of residency at Children’s Hospital Orange County and Stephen is senior vice president at a prominent film and TV production company in Los Angeles. The two have settled in Long Beach following a long honeymoon in Tulum, Mexico.
