Malibuite and actress Joan Benedict Steiger presented a “Father of the Year” award to actor Paul Sorvino at the American Diabetes Association Awards event at the Beverly Hills Hotel June 15.
Steiger has been featured in numerous films. She recently received an Eternity Award from the Los Angeles Women’s Theatre Festival and appeared on Fox’s “Dollhouse.” Sorvino is known for his roles as Paulie Cicero, a portrayal of Paul Vario in the film “Goodfellas,” and Sgt. Phil Cerreta on the TV series “Law & Order.”
