Longtime local Matthew McConaughey registers a 10 on the Hollywood radar.

All right, all right, all right, enough already (just kidding). This is definitely longtime local Matthew McConaughey’s time to shine.

When he first moved to Malibu, Big Mac was living in an Airstream trailer and enjoying surfing and the single life. Boy, how things have changed. Since then, he met the girl of his dreams, designer and Malibu Times Magazine cover girl, Camila Alves, and became a family man.

Oh, then there’s that other thing: Snagging Hollywood’s biggest prize—an Oscar for best actor in “Dallas Buyers Club.” The award was well deserved, with the star losing almost 50 pounds for the role.

On the grand Oscar night, you could see his paternal side coming out. After arriving with his wife and mother, and taking home the heavy metal in Hollywood, he went on to say, “I’ve got three kids. I’ll probably be making breakfast tomorrow.”

Still, he did marvel at his golden moment. “It’s been a fun journey and it’s super fun now.” He called it the best year of his career and family life. The 44-year-old actor expressed appreciation for his wife, as well as their kids, five-year-old Levi, four-year-old Vida and, the most recent arrival, 15-month-old Livingston.

There were many salutes in the mega trophy speech, and his late father came to mind during his emotional acceptance speech. “He’s got a cold can of Miller Lite and is dancing right now.”

Along with local Leonardo DiCaprio, he delivered a stellar performance with just six minutes of screen time in “The Wolf of Wall Street.” Leo put in three hours nonstop, but some critics said Matthew nearly stole the show.

And there was a cherry on top: Matt went on to star in the wildly popular HBO series, “True Detective,” with Woody Harrelson.

Director’s Guild of America member Elaine Perkins describes the show as “brilliant” and raved about the program.

“It was like watching two artists at the top of their game. It was a master class in acting,” she says. “I swear I watched each episode at least four times,” adding that she almost feels depressed that the series is over.

“As good as MM is in ‘Dallas Buyers Club,’ he’s better in ‘True Detectives.’ The Emmy will hook up with the Oscar and the Golden Globe, that’s for sure.”

MM’s next project is a sci-fi flick called “Interstellar,” directed by Christopher Nolan.

But for now he’s enjoying a little quiet time, saying he’s happy to be “off the grid.”

The young “Dazed and Confused” actor has sure come a long way since 1999 and he was surprised by law enforcement officials for some risky business while playing music in the buff. He admits, “Of course I still play the congas naked…[but now,] I just close the windows.” Not that we don’t want to spy a glimpse of that six-pack, but all right, all right, all right.
