Christopher “Cody” Freeman, born April 21, 1991, passed away on Nov. 24. Known by his family and friends as Cody, he graduated from Malibu High School with a passion for baseball and surf.
Cody is survived by his parents, Malibu residents Lyn and Jodi Freeman; grandparents Myron and Noreen Butler; and grandmother Brenda Freeman.
“He will remain in our hearts forever,” a loved one said.
A memorial service and paddle-out will take place at Malibu Surfrider Beach, Dec. 7 at 12 p.m.
