I have read several articles this week about it being imperative that we all be vigilant against the rise of hate crimes.
What is happening to the Standing Rock Sioux and their supporters in North Dakota is scandalous beyond words. Racist malice and brutal tactics are being implemented against peaceful “water protectors” by Wall Street moguls, corporate petroleum industry CEOs, banks, American politicians and violent militaristic police, National Guard and Homeland Security forces. Waging war against Native Americans, as history shows us, has happened from the very beginning of settlers reaching America.
I can only pray that there is not a massacre at Standing Rock.
This corrupt intermingling of state power with vast business enterprises controlled by the political elite is fueling a moral and ethical crisis. And, with the new regime coming in it’s only going to get worse.
Our country is becoming more fascist by the day!
Thank you, Malibu City Council, for your resolution to stand with Standing Rock!
