Malibu Little League (MLL) ended its season with play off games and a fundraiser for the Wounded Warriors on Saturday at Malibu Bluffs Park. Festivities for the day included face painting, a visit from Sparkles the Clown, food trucks, Italian ice and Kiwanis Club’s John Paola barbecuing hot dogs and hamburgers to raise funds for an “All Terrain Action Trackchair” for the Wounded Warrior Project. Paola’s dedication to the cause and MLL families was clear, as he fires up the grill at each game throughout the season.
Closing ceremonies took place at the end of the festivities and championship games, where awards and trophies were distributed to MLL participants.
