The following incidents were reported between 1/12- 1/17:

Card dash

Multiple credit cards were stolen from a vehicle parked at Malibu Bluffs Park while the victim was exercising. The victim drove home and was unable to find her cell phone, then noticed multiple cards were stolen from her wallet. The victim noticed the driver seat door was tampered with and the sunroof was damaged. She was later notified that her debit card was used for a $1,200 charge at a department store.

Loose change

A coin purse with $10 worth of quarters was stolen from the center console of a vehicle parked overnight on Kanan Dume Road. The victim did not remember if she locked her vehicle. The deputies were able to locate security cameras in a nearby property, contact the manager of the complex and obtained access to the footage for evidence.

Storage bust

An estimated $7,920 worth of electronics and designer bags were stolen from a storage garage on Cavalleri Road. The victim said between Jan. 16 and Jan. 17, unknown suspects cut the locks on the door stole a television, an HP computer and a designer Louis Vuitton duffle bag. The victim said a blonde woman was seen on the property security camera loading the items in a moving truck.
