Local real estate broker, family man and athletic enthusiast Brant Didden left the country on June 23 for a seven-week journey to climb K2, the second-highest mountain in the world, located on the Pakistan-China border.
According to an update on July 12, the group climbed from their Advanced Base Camp part of the way up to the route on the Abruzzi Ridge to Camp 1. The update reports that there were some snow flurries, but good conditions otherwise.
