[Update: 12:45 p.m.] All lanes of Malibu Canyon have reopened, according to the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s station.
A vehicle collision involving a motorcyclist has closed all lanes of Malibu Canyon Road between Piuma Road and Pacific Coast Highway, according to the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s station.
“Deputies received the call around 10:57 a.m.,” according to Lt. Seetoo.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department is also on scene treating injuries, according to Seetoo.
In an email correspondence from the station, motorcycle deputies and patrol units will be directing traffic as Los Angeles County Fire Air Operations airlift the motorcyclist from Bluffs Park.Â
“From the preliminary information I received, it was the motorcyclist [being airlifted from the scene],” Seetoo said.
No further information regarding the collision or additional injuries is currently available.
