The City of Malibu plans to help support at-home caregivers by hosting a support group every month beginning July 6.
Taking care of a loved one at home has many challenges which might leave caregivers feeling isolated and overwhelmed. To help them, the City of Malibu is hosting a caregiver support group to help facilitate discussions, feelings and exchange of information. The program will be facilitated by a trained psychology coach and a registered nurse practitioner.Â
The caregiver support group will meet at the Malibu City Hall’s Multi-Purpose Room every first Monday of the month at 3:30 p.m. and will run for one hour.
