As a many-year supporter of Save Our Coast, I was shocked and appalled to learn that a “different” Save Our Coast has made an enormous donation to a local charity that has nothing to do with the protection and preservation of our marine environment and Malibu’s “declared citizens-our local dolphins, sea lions, and whales. This is what I believed Save Our Coast was all about.
This totally misguided donation does nothing to help protect, rescue or rehabilitate marine mammals in our marine sanctuary off the Malibu coast. How did the mission and vision of Mary Frampton’s Save Our Coast, Malibu Dolphin Watch and the goal of a marine sanctuary off the Malibu coast go so terribly wrong, and just who is responsible for this terrible mistake?
