The Armstrong family has lived in Malibu since 1950. Family patriarch Bill Armstrong lives in the same beach house the family originally bought in 1950 on Latigo Shore Drive and celebrated his 100th birthday. Armstrong spent his career mainly as an engineer for various aircraft companies, including Hughes Research Laboratory.
