A rainstorm sweeping through Southern California is expected to bring high surf and heavy winds to Malibu, according to the National Weather Service. Waves as high as 10 to 12 feet are predicted. Beachgoers are also warned to look out for possible rip currents along the beaches. Scattered showers are predicted throughout Saturday, mostly before 4 p.m., which could bring up to ¾ of an inch of rain. The chance of rain is expected to decrease to 20 percent before 10 p.m.
