A mass power outage that struck at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Pacific Palisades has left hundreds of homes and businesses along Sunset Blvd. without power, according to the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power.
780 homes and businesses along the boulevard are without power and it is expected that repairs may take up to ten hours, Public Information Officer Michelle Vargas said. It is not clear what caused the outage.
Crews are currently on-sight trying to resolve the issue, Vargas said. It is not known whether traffic lights were affected by the outage.
