For those interested in having more Malibu input in schools, the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District is holding an open house tonight from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Malibu High School library. The open house is part of a second round of meetings to gather community input on the district’s Strategic Plan. The Strategic Plan is a planning document that sets the district’s strategic goals and directions for the next three to five years, and is currently under revision. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. with a formal presentation, then people will break out into small group discussions from 7:00-8:00 p.m. All Malibu parents, residents and stakeholders are invited to attend.
