Let’s have the only diesel in Malibu be our Diesel Bookstore. With all the articles in the paper about the dangers of diesel exhaust, it would be encouraging if our City Council addressed this problem. For instance, our Waste Management Company spews diesel exhaust with every single trash receptacle it picks up with its automated arms. Perhaps we could contract with a company that is more environmentally concerned. Our city has been a champion in many environmental actions through the years. I hope we continue on this path.
