Officials with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) are recruiting new volunteer applicants to serve in the Southern California area of the Natural Resource Volunteer Program.
Volunteers provide conservation education through service in addition to helping CDFW’s mission by enlisting biological and administrative staff support.
Applicants should have basic computer and writing skills, and be prepared for a monthly service commitment of at least 16 hours.
Selected applicants will complete a three-day training course. Dates for the training courses run through April and are available throughout Southern California.
Please contact Lt. Kent Smirl at 714.448.4218 for additional information or to submit an application.
