Longtime Malibu resident Rebecca Dmytryk, also known for having founded The California Wildlife Center, will be giving a talk on how to live harmoniously alongside wildlife.
The presentation entitled Living With Wildlife will provide real solutions to wildlife conflicts that don’t involve the use of poison or traps.
Learn how to deter deer, raccoons and skunks, how to create a coyote-proof fence or discourage predators, how to control rats and mice – poison-free, and how to attract and maintain barn owls for natural gopher and rodent control.
There will be a barn owl nest box on display, as well.
The event will held from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm Sunday, March 8th at the Michael Landon Community Center at Bluffs Park.
Free.
