It’s been a hectic weekend for local rescue teams, as officials responded to their second car-over call of the weekend in Malibu on Saturday night.
A car carrying four people plunged 50-75 feet over the side of Corral Canyon Road one mile north of Pacific Coast Highway on Saturday evening, according to the Malibu Search and Rescue Team. The four, including a 4-year-old girl, were able to exit the car and climb up the canyon.
Their injuries did not appear severe and each was being evaluated and treated at the scene. The Los Angeles County Fire Department, Air Operations and the Search and Rescue Team responded to the call.
Early Saturday morning the rescuers were also called to the scene of a car-over crash off of Kanan Dume Road. Three men suffered mild-to-critical injuries and had to be airlifted from a scene 200 feet below Kanan Dume Road.
