Artifac Tree manager Martha Templeton spoke to the Malibu Rotary Club about her dedication to the thrift store — starting as a customer and then becoming a volunteer before assuming the role as manager.
Templeton explained the various capacities of the store, including its philanthropic endeavors throughout the community.
The Artifac Tree was recently served a 60-day eviction notice by the Mariposa Land Company and an online petition to save the community thrift store is circulating.
