The Malibu Marlin Club had another successful tournament year. In the recent Los Cabos tournament, Marlin Club member Steve Spina caught a 336-pound yellow fin tuna. His catch broke the record for the largest yellow fin tuna caught in the tournament, and put the Marlin Club in first place. Spina also caught the largest mahi mahi in the Hawaii 2008-2009 season. Last year, the team took first place in the Marlin Division with the catch of a 415-pound black marlin.
