An intimate presentation of the acclaimed drama “The Exonerated” is set for Saturday night, with celebrity guests and Theatricum company members including Beau Bridges, Helen Hunt, William H. Macy, Wendie Malick, Brent Spiner, James Avery and Jamie Hector.
The event is scheduled for Sat., Nov. 9 at 6 p.m. at Topanga’s Mountain Mermaid.
The event will benefit Will Geer’s Theatricum Botanicum and mark the closing of its 40th Anniversary Season.
“The Exonerated” is docudrama by Jessica Blank and Erik Jensen that weaves together the true stories of individuals who had been sentenced to death but were later found innocent.
The drama touches on themes of social inequality, celebrates human dignity and aims to inspire mankind toward a more enlightened society.
