Local and tennis champion Amy Alcini won the tennis World Cup Championships for the U.S. with her teammates in New Zealand. The team defeated Spain 2-1, followed by Turkey 3-0, Great Britain 2-1 and defeated France to win the cup in games played between Feb. 20-28.
