The Armenian community in Malibu came together for a picnic last weekend at the La Costa Beach Club, complete with an Armenian feast and social activities. About half of the more than 100 estimated Armenian Malibu residents came out to enjoy the first annual event, organized by Coldwell Banker realtor Ani Dermenjian and Levon Akopian, owner of European Shoe Repair.
