The Malibu Boys and Girls Club honored several people on June 17 at its annual awards ceremony and celebration. Violete Miehle was the recipient of the “Youth of the Year” scholarship, while Marvin Alvarado received the Dorn Family Leadership Award. The Parent Co-op Volunteer Award was bestowed on Pastor Menjivar, while Tina Fazio was honored as the “Most Devoted Club Member.”
