Our Lady of Malibu School (OLM) third grade students got a sneak peek at law school life when they visited Pepperdine University for the Three Little Pigs v The Big Bad Wolf mock trial last Monday.

The visit was hosted by members of Pepperdine Law School’s Phi Delta Phi honor society, who facilitated the mock trial based on the classic tale “The Three Little Pigs.” In the trial, the first two little pigs pressed charges against the Big Bad Wolf, but the third pig did not because her brick house did not get blown away. Each pig’s lawyer presented their case, and the students ultimately voted that the wolf was innocent and had blown down the pigs’ homes on accident.

The Pepperdine Law students also gave their OLM visitors a tour of their law school and introduced them to Dean Reece Tacha.

“After this field trip, several students felt that they wanted to go to law school themselves,” an OLM representative said.
