The National Park Service (NPS) will host a volunteer work day at Paramount Ranch in Agoura Hills on Saturday, Aug. 23.
Volunteers will help improve trails and facilities on the ranch from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Attendees should plan on bringing gloves, wearing close-toed shoes and a hat and bring water.
Tools for helping around the property will be provided.
Over 27,000 acres of Rancho Las Virgenes was purchased by Paramount Pictures in 1927 for use in movie sets. The ranch switched owners throughout the years until NPS purchased and revitalized the property in 1980 for use in film and television.
