A motorcycle and car collided Sunday afternoon on Pacific Coast Highway in east Malibu near Moonshadows restaurant, sheriff’s officials said.Â
The accident occurred at 4:06 p.m. Sunday, according to Officer Lawrence Robone of the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station.Â
An earlier report that the collision involved a bicyclist and a car turned out to be incorrect.
No details are currently available regarding the condition of the bicyclist or the occupants in the vehicle. Two ambulances were seen traveling eastbound in central Malibu at approximately 4:15 p.m. Sunday, possibly to the site of the accident.Â
Traffic investigators would have more information Monday morning after 8 a.m., Robone said.Â
