Children’s Ballet 4:30 Class: Vanessa Liu, Sienna Oliver, Annabelle Waldinger and Jocelyn Zabaldo, perform at the City of Malibu’s Spring Receital on Saturday, May 21.

This summer, Malibu residents of all ages can learn new skills, get some exercise or make artistic creations through community summer classes provided by the City of Malibu Parks and Recreation Department.

Young children can bond with their parents and companions during Parent and Me Classes, including Kick & Play, Music Together, Parent & Me Ballet and Park Tales. Local youth can spend their summer vacations creating cartoons and watercolor paintings, dancing in ballet, tap and jazz classes, or learning a new sport.

Adults can take advantage in a number of summer classes as well, including dog training, journaling, instrument classes, dance classes, Tai Chi and fitness classes.
