For those of you who are still Bush supporters, or want to stay home on Nov. 2 because you’re Republican and can’t bring yourself to vote for a liberal, take note.
Please see an excellent, admittedly biased documentary about John Kerry, “Going Up River,” which opened yesterday in Santa Monica and elsewhere. It’s extremely enjoyable and it will teach you more about John Kerry than all the debates. Isn’t character more important than likability?
Question not statement: How would you feel if you knew that in the first debate Bush had a “line” to an “information” source as evidenced by (l) statement given by a reporter on cable TV; (2) battery pack on his back; (3) distracted looks during Kerry’s statements as if Bush isn’t listening; and, finally, listen to the hesitant way he responds as if he is waiting for the answers.
