The City of Malibu launched its new website on May 31. According to the first news post after the launch, the site is “more user-friendly” than the previous site and provides quick access to city services for both residents and visitors.
The city’s website redesign has been in the works for months. The new site also allows a viewer to create a personalized dashboard when they log in and gives them the capability to “create the modules, features and keywords that they’d like to see most often, including calendars, news items and emergency alerts.”
Additionally, Malibu Mayor Lou La Monte’s 2013 State of the City video address is available for viewing. In the video La Monte said the City of Malibu was in “excellent” condition. You can see the video here.
