I was away for my birthday, so I missed reading the Nov. 7 issue until now. I thought it was funny to see the Paradise Cove Beach Cafe’s ad stating, “What two words don’t go together in Malibu? Free parking.” Everywhere in Malibu except Paradise Cove Beach and the State and Federal Parks have free parking.
Paradise Cove recently upped their fee for walk-ins to $20 and cars to $40. It may have cost some business. The Beach Cafe had a six dollar parking fee, including “free” valet, if you eat $30 worth of food.
