The City of Malibu hosted its sixth annual Student Art Show at the Malibu Library on Friday and Saturday. Students in K-12 showcased their talents with a variety of mixed media, such as acrylics, watercolors, tiles for mosaics and collages. All 27 artists received a certificate of participation signed by Mayor John Sibert. Family and friends dropped by the artist reception on Friday evening where light refreshments were served. The City of Malibu’s Recreational Supervisor Kristin Riesgo said,”Malibu student artists are very creative and talented. Year after year it is impressive to see the beautiful artwork that the students bring to the show.”
