Dan Hillman was one of the special people who made Malibu a great place to live. A successful orthopedic surgeon, he saw the need for emergency medical services and was available 24/7 next to the fire station for many years. He was passionate about Malibu and threw himself into opposing sewers and striving for cityhood.
Hillman had a deep sense of justice. He was enormously proud of his children’s remarkable achievements. He loved entertaining and good times and had more friends of all walks of life than most people could imagine. We shall miss his fun loving caring friendship.
