Malibu High School students Emma Blackwood and Lauren Haas have each been awarded scholarships from the Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA).
Blackwood received the Malibu High School PTSA Memorial Scholarship honoring Frank Page. Page, whose dedication to the school is recognized through the scholarship, served for five years as the school’s Associated Student Body accountant, athletic secretary and a coach for the cross country, track and men’s soccer teams.
Haas received the MHS PTSA Memorial Scholarship honoring Louis Leithold. The scholarship commemorates the calculus teacher’s influence on the school.
