Room at the Beach hosted Malibu locals and visitors who came to meet acclaimed cooking teacher and author Pamela Salzman for a book signing and cooking demonstration on Thursday afternoon.
Salzman spoke of the importance of cooking with healthy ingredients. Her philosophy, “Eat Well, Live Well and Be Well,” stems from her lifelong love of food, cooking, gardening and nutrition. Salzman is a certified holistic health counselor and teaches cooking classes.
Attendees browsed around Room at the Beach, sipping on champagne and nippling on chocolate chip cookies prior to the event. Attendees watched the preparation of both the Thai Coconut Curry dish and the energy Bliss Balls. Salzman offered information on customizing recipes for gluten free, vegan and vegetarian lifestyles.
