The Malibu Community Labor Exchange celebrated 25 years of service to the community with a celebration on Saturday including food, music, piñatas and a visit from actor Martin Sheen, a longtime Malibu resident and one of the founders of the exchange. Labor exchange director and Dolphin Award winner Oscar Mondragon was also on hand to enjoy the festivities. The exchange, a nonprofit, was founded to help supply Malibu residents with hourly workers, while providing safe, legal income for those who need it and are willing to work.
