Local Christine Waljeski wed Julien Dubois of Marsannay-la-Cìte, France on July 25 at the Adamson House.
Waljeski grew up in Malibu and attended Malibu High School before going on to receive a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Master of Earth Sciences from University of California Berkeley.
Dubois is finishing his Ph.D. in neuroscience.
The couple had an additional ceremony in Pontarlier, France, Aug. 21 in the same chapel where the groom’s parents wed.
