Local equestrian Juliana Ball recently completed two weeks of competition at Thunderbird Showpark in Langley, British Columbia, Canada. Ball competed in the 1.35 meter open the first week with her horse, Dos Lunas Columbia Z, and won both first place and the championship.
The second week, Ball competed in the 1.35 meter Open Classic with 40 riders. Ball was one of 10 riders who went clear the first round and qualified for the jump off. She was then one of four to go clean and finished in fourth place, edging out professional Grand Prix riders, including Susan Hutchinson and Richard Spooner.Â
