The Malibu High School choir has received the opportunity of a lifetime—a chance to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York.
The choir has been accepted to be part of the National Youth Choir that will be showcasing their skills at Carnegie Hall on Mar. 9, 2014. The 55 Malibu High Students making up the choir will come together with 300 other students from across the country to rehearse and perform in the concert.
In the past, the High School choir has also performed at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, the Acropolis in Athens, the Vatican in Italy, and Carnegie Hall.
Before they make their debut at Carnegie Hall this spring, there will be an Orchestra and Choir Concert on December 5 at 7:00 p.m. and a Winter Chorale Concert on December 12 at 7:00 p.m., both held in the high school auditorium.
