I would like to extend a sincere thanks to everyone in Malibu who supported my campaign for city council. Having been a 30 year resident who has volunteered in the community for many years, I was happy to meet so many new faces who love Malibu as much as I do.
Thank you to all the wonderful volunteers who made phone calls, supported me at community events, residents who put up my signs, hosted coffees and donated to my campaign. Personally, I had a great time running and, even though things got predictably heated, I really turned it into a “bucket list” experience! Think about it … It’s a once-in-a-lifetime chance to see the world through the eyes of a candidate. Fun. Eye-opening. Challenging. But in the end, really an E-Ticket ride through an exciting moment in life.
I congratulate and wish good luck to the men of the slate and their supporters.
