Danielle Bush, all-league sophomore co-captain and guard, scored a league season-high of 29 points in the Malibu High School girls’ varsity basketball team’s 44-27 win against the Grace Bretheran Warriors in Simi Valley. Bush dropped in four three-point baskets and slashed through the Warriors’ defense for easy lay-ups and close jump shots. The Sharks outscored the Warriors in every quarter as they evened their Frontier League record to 3-3.
The Sharks then lost in a home game to undefeated Santa Clara, 47-21. Next, the Sharks will face Bishop Diego and Santa Paula.
