Bank of Books was rockin’ on Saturday with singer/ songwriter Leslie Bixler at Rockin’ Rhythm Story Time. Children sang and danced during the interactive performance, roaring like lions and balancing like trees.
“My hope is to connect with them at a very real level, stimulate their love of stories and images, deepen their connection to rhythm and music and humor, and self-confidence!” Bixler said.
She has been entertaining children for nearly 10 years and her two children’s CDs, “Moon Food” and “Rhythm Train,” include special guests Dick Van Dyke and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith. Smith also brought his family to join the fun on Saturday morning.
