Malibu native Michael Fuhrman married Holly Heuer at a ceremony in Santa Barbara on July 20. Fuhrman is the son of Gail and Mike Fuhrman, of Malibu, and Heuer is the daughter of Erin Eamer and Rip Heuer, of Santa Barbara.
Fuhrman attended University of California, Santa Barbara, where he studied economics with an emphasis in accounting. He went on to earn his CPA license and an MBA from California State University, Channel Islands.
Heuer earned a Bachelor of Arts in anthropology from University of California, Santa Barbara and is pursuing her Ph.D. in clinical psychology at Fielding University.
The event took place at the bride’s parents’ home in Hope Ranch, Santa Barbara, and the wedding party included a number of Malibu residents. Daniel Howard, of Malibu, served as the best man, while fellow Malibuites Jake Forshpan, Hayden Goldberg, Jamie Buff and Justin Henry served as groomsmen, along with six of the groom’s friends from UCSB. The maid of honor and nine bridesmaids were all Santa Barbara residents. The ceremony was conducted by Brian Eamer, a Malibu resident and the bride’s uncle. Malibu locals Jordan and Garrett Eamer, the bride’s cousins, served as ushers.
For their honeymoon, the couple traveled to Italy, Croatia and Slovenia.
